Who We Are
Retail Women in Tech is a global community dedicated to empowering women and allies passionate about retail and technology. We are change makers, champions and catalysts. Together is how we all succeed. Our mission is to create the conditions for women to gain greater representation and impact across every aspect of our industry.
What We Do
We cultivate meaningful connections between people of different backgrounds to inspire, support and learn from one another as we navigate through this thing called our careers (and life). We believe inclusion and diversity is required for personal and financial success. We are building the largest support network in retail to advance the presence and impact of women in retail & tech. We help you grow and find your way through personal and professional development, networking and mentorship.
Why We are Doing It
Because no one else is. Women make up most of the retail industry, but very few are in leadership roles. Specifically in the tech space, at any level, be it brand IT, tech companies, consulting firms, VCs, there is a void. Furthermore, women influence up to 80% of all purchasing decisions -- so from a business perspective, shouldn't our teams better mirror the customers we are serving? Our vision is to see women thrive, to elevate the next-gen of leaders and to drive the transformation of retail & tech.

In tech: sales, marketing, product, customer success, partnerships. As well as, people from consulting, media, research firms, and analysts, authors, VCs, founders, and coaches from around the world.

At industry events and in the cities we live, we host get togethers which provide us the opportunity to make new friends and see our industry pals. We value quality over quantity events. We are always looking for community leads to organize events in cities across the globe.
